Jay Ungar
Best known for his composition, "Ashokan Farewell," the Grammy-winning and Emmy-nominated theme song of Ken Burns' PBS documentary series, The Domestic War, Jay Ungar has pure and recorded with mid-'60s outcrop band, Cat Mother & influence All Night Newsboys, the Putnam Country String Band, Fiddle Symptom, the David Bromberg Band, come first in duos with his partner, Molly Mason, and his ex, Lyn Hardy.
The founder human the Fiddle & Dance Factory at Ashokan, a Catskill Climax camp, in 1980, Ungar has spearheaded the revival in arranged string band music and trip the light fantastic toe.
